All training starts with a free informal 1 hour consultation, a Thai Education Needs Assessment (TENA) from which we then develop a learning plan to meet your goals. From complete beginners to those wishing to sit the Thai Government Level 6 examination and beyond, we welcome all. Our quiet comfortable classrooms are centrally located close to Sukhumvit BTS Prom Phrong.

Mark Shee

Mark has delivered training for Colleges, Universities, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco and Microsoft. An IT professional and an advocate of training Mark set up Thai Language School under the Thai Company Today Travel Asia as he felt the methods of teaching Thai to non-asians were antiquated and not suitable for Westerners. Working with modern learning techniques Mark with his enlightened teachers, is helping to redefine learning Thai. The learning technique used is both friendly and interactive and more enjoyable than standard learning by wrote approaches. As such motivates and give the student more confidence to advance more rapidly - we call this Active Learning.

Linda

Linda is the most senior Thai language teacher at Thai Language Hut having been teaching for over 25 years. She feels that every day in teaching is new and interesting, new students, new learning problems to over come and different ways to do this. She has a love for imparting knowledge and finding the learning tipping point at which students begin to understand big concepts within Thai language. Linda has a friendly outgoing personality (including an infectious laugh) which works well with the students putting them at ease straight away.

May

May has been in jobs interacting with either customers or students in Thai and English throughout her career. She relishes the challenges of teaching Thai to students with different personalities and levels of confidence. She learnt how to build confidence in language through teaching children language skills for over six years. People say that to learn a language you must first learn to learn like a child and explore the world in your new language! Her open approach to Thai Language teaching has been well received in her extensive experience with adults.

Mulan

With over eight years experience in teaching Thai language and culture Mulan loves to see her students successfully communicating with Thai locals ….with no communication problems! The youngest teacher of the core team Mulan sees every question asked by her students as an opportunity to understand her students’ better so she can find the right teaching tool to match the students’ needs. A traveller herself she enjoys meeting with people of many different backgrounds and cultures and learning about their different perspectives and learning styles.
